The Fort Frances Lakers have stolen home ice advantage away from the Dryden Ice Dogs after a 4-2 victory in Dryden last night. Brendan Church of the Ice Dogs opened the scoring but the Lakers scored twice in the first once in the second and once in the third before Dryden’s Kyle Heck would respond for the Dogs. Josh Baker allowed 4 goals on 14 shot and was replaced by Curtis Barker early in the third. The best of seven series is now tied at one game a piece heading to Fort Frances. Game 3 is Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. Due to the Ofsaa girls tournament CKDR will not be broadcasting the game.
