Ice Dogs Fall At Home

The Dryden Ice Dogs can feel the heat after a 6-2 loss to the Fort William North Stars at home Friday night. Three goals in the first period including one in the first two minutes of the game were enough for Fort William as the Ice Dogs scored 2 power play goals over the final 2 periods. Chris Kitt and Nicolas Doiron scroed for Dryden whos lead at the top of the SIJHL is down to 1 point over the North Stars. Dryden will have a chance to stretch their lead back to three points as they finish up the two game set Saturday night at the Dog Pound. Game time 7:30. In other SIJHL play the Fort Frances Jr. Sabres downed the Schreiber Diesels 4-1 at home.
