The Dryden Ice Dogs continue to learn after a 6-3 loss to the Borderland Thunder in Fort Frances Tuesday night. The Dogs let momentum slip away after scoring 3 goals in a 4 minute span to open up a one goal lead midway through the second period. Goals by Sean Bassingthwaite, Luc Leveque and Merlyn Smith turned a two goal defecit into a one goal lead but the Thunder responded quickly and scored the eventual winner late in the second. Kevin Kauk face 40 shots in the loss which dropped Dryden to 2-3 on the young season. Tyler Gordon From Hudson scored his 2nd win of the season in net for the undefeatd Thunder. The Ice Dogs will now get set for a pair of games Friday and Saturday agains the Fort William North Stars.
