Ice Dogs Fall ON Home Ice

The Dryden Ice Dogs tasted defeat for the first time in front of the home faithful falling 2-0 to the Thunder Bay Bearcats Saturday night. The Bearcats scored in the second period and held on to the lead until an empty net goal in the final minute of the game to seal the win. Dryden saw their lead atop the standings shrink to 2 points after the Fort William North Stars downed the Schreiber Diesels 4-2 in Thunder Bay. Dryden won’t rest long as they welcome the Fort Frances Jr. Sabres to town Wednesday night.
