The first trip to the ‘Dog Pound’ for the Bottineau Lumberjacks was a
successful one as the new entry in the league beat Dryden 5-2 Saturday night.
The Lumberjacks scored 4-times in the final frame to ice the game.
Joe Harding and Dale Logel each scored on the powerplay for the Ice
Dogs.
Brady Homan was stellar in between the pipes making 46-saves
for the win, while Shaun Szachury suffered the loss.
Dryden will look for revenge Sunday afternoon when the two teams meet at
4:00.
