It probably comes as no surprise to fans of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs that Eric Stout has been named SIJHL Player of the Week.
The 19-year-old from Brainerd, Minnesota made an immediate impression in his debut scoring six times in two Ice Dogs wins.
Stout found the back of the net four times in his very first game with Dryden GM.
He is the week 1 points leader in the league.
Dwayne Auger of the English River Miners also received consideration.
