Ice Dogs Ground Flyers

The Sioux Lookout Flyers could not hold the early momentum as the Dryden Ice Dogs scored 6 unanswered goals in a 6-2 win in Sioux Lookout Saturday night. Brad Bienvenu and Alex Riveness had the Flyers up 2-0 3 minutes and 14 seconds into the contest only to see Dryden storm back with 3 goals in the first. The Dogs would add 1 in the second and 2 in the third. Six diffrent Ice Dogs found the back of the net including Chad Liley, Henry Vadnais, BJ McLellan, Spencer Gyori, Mike Lennon and Jon Mitchell. Peter Emery made 25 saves in the win while Jordan Giguere faced 55 shots in the loss. Dryden improves to 10-1 on the season while the Flyers fall to 6 and 7.
