The Dogs stole home ice advantage away from the English River Miners with a 3-2 win Sunday in Ear Falls.
Dryden jumped out to a 3-0 lead before hanging on for the victory in a furious Miners comeback bid.
Dane Feeney scored twice for Dryden, while Alex Hester scored the winner.
Royce King and Taylor Barger responded for the Miners.
Joakim Jutrus was the difference maker making 40-saves.
The Best-of-7 Quarter-Final is now tied at 1, with game 3 set for Wednesday in Dryden.
In the other series, the Minnesota Iron Rangers are up 2 after a 4-3 win over Wisconsin.
