The Dryden GM Ice Dogs will look to inch closer to first place in the SIJHL standings Wednesday night.
A win against the Fort Frances Lakers on home ice would move Dryden GM one point behind the league leading Thunder Bay North Stars.
However, Fort Frances has been a tough opponent for the Ice Dogs this season, with the last three games decided by one goal.
The last two games have been decided in overtime or a shootout, with both teams picking up a win.
Puck-drop is 7:30 at the Memorial Arena.
Meantime, the Ice Dogs-Miners game that was postponed on November 22nd due to inclement weather has now been scheduled for March 7th in Red Lake.
