The Dryden GM Ice Dogs once again limited opposition opportunities and scored some timely goals in a 5-3 win Halloween night against English River.
Brandon Schaber got things going for the Miners with a shorthanded goal in the first, but the Dogs would respond with consecutive goals from Braeden Allkins, Matt Houston, Jeevan Dosange and bithday boy Derek McPhail.
The Miners would make it interesting with third period goals from Ryker Moreau and Kyle Crawford.
Kent Walchuk would ice the game with an empty net goal.
Dryden GM outshot the Miners 29-15.
