Ice Dogs in Shutdown Mode

The Dryden Ice Dogs defense came to play Tuesday night as the SIJHL Club skated away with a 3-0 win over the Fort Frances Lakers.

The Ice Dogs limited the Lakers to 18-shots, while firing 55 on Jameson Shortreed.

Coach Clint Mylymock says he was proud of the effort.

Chad Liley scored a couple of goals, while Brendan Church added a single.

Josh Baker picked up the shutout.

The rematch is tonight (Wednesday) at 7:30 at the Dryden Memorial Arena.

A T.V. will be set up so fans don’t have to miss the Canada-Russia game.
