The Dryden Ice Dogs are hoping to find success out west as the SIJHL
club has inked a trio of western players.
Dryden has signed 18-year-old Tony Francour, a 6-3, 220 pound
defenceman who played ‘AAA’ Midget in Swift Current, Saskatchewan last
year.
Francour started in 40-games and wracked up 291 penalty minutes, while
recording 6-points.
The Ice Dogs are also welcoming a pair of players from the Eastman
Selects ‘AAA’ Midget program in Manitoba.
18-year-old Riley Kielich is a skilled defenceman who
averaged a point a game last year, while Kevin Burton is an 18-year-old
right winger who finished the previous campaign with 32 goals and 55 points.
