Ice Dogs Lead Down To One

The Dryden Ice Dogs first place lead in the SIHJL in down to a single point as Dryden fell 4-1 to the North Stars at the Fort William First Nations Arena Friday night. The Ice Dogs came out strong notching there one and only goal in the first period. Penalties crushed the pace of the game and the North Stars skated away with a 4-1 win. The loss rops the Ice Dogs lead over the North Stars to a single point with the Stars holding 2 games in hand. Mike McIntyre was the lone dryden goal scorer. Liam Johnston was tagged for the loss. THe ICe Dogs and North Stars will meet again Saturday night in Thunder Bay to wrpa up the tewo game set.
