Ice Dogs Lose A Close One

A late goal by Matt Miller lifted the Fort William First Nations North Stars to a 4-3 victory over the Dryden Ice Dogs Friday night in Thunder Bay. The defending SIJHL champions scored with 2:06 left in regualtion to hand the Dogs their first loss of the season. Matt Tryhuba scored twice and Kyle Schoeder added a single while Kevin Kauk faced 27 shots in the losing effort. The North Stars and Ice Dogs will wrap up their series at Delany Arean Saturday night.
