The Dryden Ice dogs got the point they needed to win the regular season title outright in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Fort William North Stars in Thunder Bay. The game stayed tied from the first period on when the Ice Dogs and North Stars traded goals. With the regualtion tie the Ice Dogs recieved a pint to put them out of reach of the Stars for first. But the North Stars scored with 19.8 seconds left for the win. Chris Kitt scored the Ice Dogs lone goal. The two teams will tangle again Saturday night to wrap up thier regular season schedule.
