If things weren’t bad enough for the Dryden Ice Dogs!
The Dogs have learned that Captain Jon Mitchell will be out for at least 4-weeks with an upper body injury.
The team’s second leading scorer was injured after he was hit from behind in a game last weekend.
Meanwhile, the Dogs have made a couple of roster moves.
The team has traded veteran defenceman Connor Foster to the Abitibi Eskimos of the Northern Ontario League for future considerations.
Dryden has acquired Ty Brueggeman from the Fort Frances Lakers.
Brueggeman is a product of Atikokan.
