Ice Dogs Lose in 14-Player Shootout

It was a back-and-forth struggle from start to finish and in the end the Fort Frances Lakers scored on the 13th shooter of a shootout to outlast the Dryden Ice Dogs 5-4 Tuesday night in Dryden.
The Dogs were less then 3-minutes away from earning their first win of the season, before Blake Boaz scored on a power-play to send the game to extra time.
Dogs Defenceman Len Pelletier had a goal in the game and says his team is improving each and every day.
Bryce Maggrah and Jesse Linner also found the back of the net, while Diego Breckenridge scored his first SIJHL goal.
Brett Timmerman suffered the loss, making 34-saves.
Dryden did lose Beau Deloreto to a lower body injury midway through the game and his status is unclear.
