In a game that featured little 5-5 play, the Thunder Bay North Stars power-play was just a little better in a 3-2 win over the Dryden GM Ice Dogs Friday night in Thunder Bay.
Thunder Bay went 3-12 on the power-play, while Dryden was 2-10 with the man advantage.
Cole Golka scored his 10th of the season, while Matt Houston potted his 9th.
Dryden out-shot the North Stars 39-33.
The two teams are back at it Saturday night.
