The first ever trip for the Dryden Ice Dogs to Bottineau, North Dakota was a successful one.
The Ice Dogs took 4-points from the hometown Lumberjacks.
On Friday, Jordan Chong scored a pair of goals while Ryen McKinnon and Scott Klein added singles as Dryden beat Bottineau 4-2.
Shaun Szachury was solid in between the pipes making 34 saves, including 20 on Lumberjack powerplays.
Saturday it was Jordan Chong with three as the Ice Dogs upended Bottineau 7-4.
Quinn McIntosh scored two, while Liam Walker and Cory Smith scored singles.
Kevin Kauk picked up the win making 33 saves.
