Ice Dogs Miss Clinching

First place in the SIJHL may come down to the that last road trip of the season after a 5-5 tie with the Schreiber Diesels on home ice Saturday night. All of Dryden’s big guns found the back of the net as Nicolas Doiron scored twice and now holds a 9 point lead in the league scoring race. Marlon Gardner, Rowan Bruetsch and Colin McIntosh all added singles. Scheiber scored twice in the third to force the tie. With the tie Dryden holds an 8 point lead over the Fort William North Stars with the Stars having 2 games in hand. Dryden will meet Fort William to finish off the regular season next weekend. The Stars have a pair games in between.
