A tough loss for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs in their Annual ‘Pink the Rink’ game for cancer research.
Despite controlling the play, the Ice Dogs fell to the visiting Fort Frances Lakers 5-3 Friday night.
Dryden GM jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead on goals from Nic Noseworthy and Derek McPhail.
However, the Lakers responded with four power-play goals.
Braeden Allkins also scored for Dryden.
The Ice Dogs outshot the Lakers 30-19.
They will look to rebound Saturday at home against English River.
Game time is 7:30.
