It was a great way to start the season as the Dryden Ice Dogs scored a 10-0 win over the Thunder Bay Bulldogs on home ice Friday nigth. The Ice Dogs fired 70 plus shots at the Bulldogs scoring 6 times on the power play. Leading the way for Dryden were Colin Senkow, Sean Bassingthwaite and Liam Walker with 2 goals each. Dustin Hildebrand, Matt Tryhuba, Blair Oversby and Jordan Lamarche each notched singles. Kiven Kauk had the shut out in his first ever SIJHL game facing 28 shots. The Ice Dogs and Bull Dogs finish off their two game set Saturday night. The puck drops at 8:00 p.m. at the Dryden Memorial Arena.
