The Dryden Ice Dogs have taken advantage of the SIJHL 1996 birth-year player draft to pick up a few new faces from the Thunder Bay Midget Kings.
The Ice Dogs used their 4th pick in the first round to select Tristan Salesse.
Salesse is 5’10, 172-pounds and hails from Terrace Bay.
He recorded 65-points in 61-games with the Kings last season.
Dryden used their second round pick to select forward Derek McPhail and their third pick was used to select defenceman Jacob McRae.
McRae is 6’0, 195-pounds and is from Thunder Bay.
He notched 10-points in the 29-games last year.
Dryden also selected local High School star Kirk Markowski in the Pre-Selection draft.
