The Dryden GM Ice Dogs can clinch a spot in the playoff round at the Dudley Hewitt Cup with a win Wednesday night.
The Ice Dogs take on the Cochrane Crunch, who dropped their opening game 4-0.
However, Coach Kurt Walsten says they aren’t taking their opponent lightly.
Walsten says they won their opener last year in Trenton, but lost their next two games, knocking them out of playoff contention.
He says they have to be a little better in their defensive zone today, noting at times they were running around and panicking a bit on Tuesday.
Game time is 7:30 at the Memorial Arena and tickets will be available at the door starting at 5:30.
