Ice Dogs Pull Out Overtime Win

A gutsy win for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.

Nic Noseworthy scored with 22 seconds left in 3-on-3 overtime to pull out a 4-3 win over the North Stars in Thunder Bay.

Taylor Unruh was the second hero on the day as he stopped Nicholas Nigro on a penalty shot in the extra session.

Thunder Bay forced overtime with two third period markers.

Two of the their three goals came on the powerplay.

Eric Stout led Dryden GM with his ninth and tenth goals of the season.

Derek McPhail added a single.

Braedyn Aubin provided three helpers.

Unruh made several big saves and finished with 36 stops.

Dryden GM finished with 45 shots.

The Ice Dogs are now on their Thanksgiving break and will be in action next on October 14th and 15th at home.
