Ice Dogs Pull Out Road Victory

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs survived a scare in Fort Frances Sunday afternoon.

Up 2-0 with 1:12 left in the third, the Lakers staged a furious comeback to force extra time.

Nothing was settled in overtime brining matters to a shootout.

Nolan Marshall scored the lone goal and Jacob Anthony was perfect as the Ice Dogs pulled out a 3-2 victory.

Justin Pitari and Josh Weber recorded first period markers.

Anthony finished with 45-saves.

In other SIJHL action, Cochenour’s Cody Bruchkowski scored his second goal of the game in overtime leading Thunder Bay to a 5-4 win in Spooner, Wisconsin.
