Ice Dogs Pull Out Sloppy Win

It wasn’t pretty but the Dryden GM Ice Dogs picked up a badly needed two points in Hoyt Lakes Friday night.

Taylor Buscis scored on a weird bounce late in the third period and the Ice Dogs held on for a 3-2 win over the Minnesota Iron Rangers.

Derek McPhail and Braeden Allkins also found the back of the net.

The Ice Dogs scored twice on the powerplay but were outshot 34-26.

Ben Dennis was solid in net for the win.

Dryden GM is now two points back of first place Thunder Bay.

The Ice Dogs are back on the road right away and will face Thief River Falls Saturday and Sunday.
