For the second straight game the Dryden GM Ice Dogs blew a huge third period lead, but unlike Tuesday night the Ice Dogs managed to escape with two points.
Troy Williams was the hero in overtime as the Dogs outlasted Minnesota 5-4.
Dryden GM was up 4-1 in the third period thanks to goals from Matt Houston, Nic Noseworthy, Derek McPhail and Kent Walchuk.
The Ice Dogs outshot the Iron Rangers 41-32.
Elsewhere, the English River Miners three game winning streak came to an end as they dropped a 6-4 decision in Thunder Bay.
