The curtain opens on a new SIJHL season Friday night.
The Dryden GM Ice Dogs start play at home against the English River Miners.
Sam Marrit, Zach Lugli, Trey Palermo and Cory Dennis were guests on the CKDR Morning Show today to talk about the upcoming season.
All four are playing in their first season with the team and only Dennis has junior experience.
He’s a 19-year-old from Madison, Wisconsin.
Marrit is 16-years-old from Toronto, while Lugli and Palermo are hometown boys and are graduates of the Eagles High School program.
Game time is 7:30.
The Ice Dogs will introduce their new jerseys at the game.
Meantime, the Fort Frances Lakers begin defence of their league title at home against the expansion Thief River Falls Norskies.
