Ice Dogs Rebound With Big Win

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs ended a two game slide in a big way.

The Ice Dogs scored three goals in the first and didn’t look back in a 7-2 win over Minnesota Friday night.

Malcolm Huemmert scored a pair of goals, while Eric Stout, Trey Palermo, Evan Walls, Cory Dennis and Reid Manning added singles.

Jacob Gnidziejko made 23 saves for the win, with one goal allowed coming on a penalty shot.

Dryden GM peppered 42 shots on Iron Rangers goalie Rob Ivy.

The same two teams meet Saturday in Hoyt Lakes.

Meantime, the Thunder Bay North Stars won their 11th in a row, downing Fort Frances 4-0.
