It will go the distance as the Dryden Ice Dogs scored a 3-1 win over the Schreiber Diesels on the road to stay alive in their best of 7 SIJHL semi-final series. Marlon Gardner scored twice and Ryan Helbling added a single for Dryden who held off a late charge by the Diesels. Graeme Harrington was stellar between the pipes for the win. The Oakville Blades will meet the Markham Waxers in the OPJHL while the Abitibi Eskimos will face the Sudbury Jr. Wolves in The NOJHL.
