Ice Dogs Stay in First with Come-From-Behind Win

The Dryden Ice Dogs spotted the Fort Frances Junior Sabres a 3-1 lead, before storming back with 5-unanswered goals en route to a 6-3 win Wednesday night at the ‘Dog Pound’.
Captain Colin McIntosh led the attack with a hat-trick and says after struggling in the beginning, the team picked it up after a time-out late in the second period.
Chris Kitt, Nicolos Doiron and Rowen Bruetsch also scored for Dryden,
while Sonny Albert stopped 29-shots for the win.
Dryden remains in first place in the SIJHL standings, 2-points up on the Fort William North Stars.
The Stars beat the Thunder Bay Bulldogs 5-3 Wednesday.
