The Dryden Ice Dogs have survived to see another day.
The Ice Dogs received some help Wednesday night as the Soo Thunderbirds scored four goals in the third to down the Fort Frances Lakers 6-3.
The Fort loss means it will be Dryden GM and the Lakers for the final playoff spot at the Dudley Hewitt Cup.
Game time is 7:30 Thursday night.
Soo will play Toronto at 2:00 for first and a bye to Saturday’s final.
