Ice Dogs Survive Battle Against The Miners

The Dryden GM Ice Dogs are one step closer to clinching third place in the SIJHL standings.
The Dogs outlasted the English River Miners 3-2 in overtime Sunday night.
An Ice Dogs win or a Thunder Bay loss in the final week of place guarantees Dryden GM won’t have to play in a qualification round.
They are also now one point back of second with two more games to play.
Jonathan Philley, Troy Williams and Kyle Pouncy scored for the Ice Dogs, while Kirk Coppick and Ian Bablitz replied for the Miners.
Dryden GM outshot English River 56-19.
