Ice Dogs Visit Eagle River Wall of Fame

The following was submitted by Eagle River volunteer Connie Calvert……

SIJHL Dryden Ice Dogs Head Coach Jake Gushue and Assistant Coach Ben Hackl made the trek to the Eagle River Wall of Fame at our local rink to check out their jersey painted by our local artist Linda Carter.
Last year we entertained them with a skate with the kids evening and The Dogs were subjected to outdoor ice and cold temperatures! Jesse Perrin and Connie Calvert spearheaded the event with the help of local volunteers. We all had a memorable evening with the attending team members and at that time, assistant coach Jake Gushue.
We are honoured to add them to our wall as guests and this year, they have rebranded. Our local artist expertly took on the task of replicating their new logo and colours.
We look forward to a repeat visit this year and possibly some organized hockey with the locals.
Go Dogs!!
