Thomas Greene was the hero as he scored with 39-seconds left in overtime to propel the Dryden Ice Dogs past the Fort Frances Lakers 5-4 Wednesday in Dryden.
The Ice Dogs opened with a 3-0 lead, with goals from Ryan Lobreau, Dallas Crum and Alex Galbraith.
Fort Frances would battle back with Byron Katapaytuk tying the contest with 43-seconds left to play.
Jesse Linner would also find the back of the net for Dryden, with Ian Perrier making 20-saves for the victory.
Third place Dryden now moves 1-point behind Wisconsin and Thunder Bay in the SIJHL standings.
The Stars defeated the Wildnerness 5-4 in a shootout Wednesday.
