Ice Dogs Win A Thriller

A barn burner at the Memorial Arena between the Dryden Ice Dogs and the Minnesota Iron Rangers Friday night.
The Ice Dogs defeated the Wildnerness 3-2 in a marathon 8 round shootout.
Mikko Keski-Pukkila forced overtime with his first SIJHL goal 29 seconds into the third period.
Dryden’s Cody Kaus scored in the powerplay in the first period.
Shayne Dietl made some timely saves and finished with 25 stops to pick up the victory.
The Iron Rangers and Ice Dogs are back at it Saturday night at 7:30.
