It was an emotional win for the Dryden Ice Dogs Saturday as the Dogs pulled out a 6-5 shootout win over the Fort William North Stars.
Garret Nystedt was the hero, scoring the lone shootout goal, while Sonny Albert kept the team alive making 44-saves.
Chad Liley powered the Ice Dogs attack in regular time, recording the hat trick.
Darren Turner and Kevin Burton also found the back of the net.
