For the first time this season a member of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs has been named SIJHL/Play It Again Sports Player of the Week.
First-year forward Xavier Halterman has received the honour.
The 19-year-old from St. Albert, Alberta produced points in all three games last week.
Halterman had a goal and dished out four assists to help the Ice Dogs pick up two important wins.
He now has a pair of tallies and seven helpers in 12 games this season.
Red Lake Miners defenceman Carson Lux also received consideration.
