Police are urging motorists to slow down and use extra caution on the roads today.
Roads are still slippery in some parts of the region thanks to a mix of freezing rain and snow.
There have been no major crashes but police say there have been several minor mishaps, including trucks and vehicles going off the road.
One incident happened on Highway 17, west of Dryden, near Conception Bay Road.
No injuries are reported and all highways are open.
