Ignace Council, residents and mill workers are trying to gain Premier
McGuinty’s attention.
Councilor Dianne Loubier says Saturday they will be protesting the
Governments inaction surrounding job losses in the forest industry and in
the community.

Ignace is upset with the closure of the Bowater sawmill and the
proposed relocation of the company’s woodland operation to Thunder Bay.
