Ignace Receives Funds For Infrastructure Plan

The Federal government is out with more than $46,000 in funding to support infrastructure planning in Ignace.

Kenora MP Bob Nault made the announcement Monday, stating the Township will be in a better position to make the right long-term decisions as part of their strategic plan.

Nault says the funding will help community planners anticipate future needs.

Ignace is looking at a plan to maintain, replace and repair infrastructure such as roads, recreational facilities, as well as water and wastewater systems.
