Bad news for the Town of Ignace just before Christmas.
Mayor Lionel Cloutier says the Bowater Sawmill has closed indefinetely.

According to reports, staff were advised of the shutdown when they
arrived to work this morning.
Officials from Bowater and the union have been unavailable for
comment.
