The City of Dryden is cracking down on illegal parking.
Chief of Police Shayne MacKinnon says Council has amended the current
bylaw to allow private owners to set their own rules.
Private owners will now be able to sell parking permits but MacKinnon
stresses they must register with the City and ensure proper signage is in
place.
Unauthorized parking in a Municipal or private lot will cost you $20 to $25.
Officers will also be stepping up enforcement on motorists who park in a disabled
parking zone.
Infractions will now net you a $300 fine.
