Illegally Transferred Licence Costs Hunters $1,000

Two American hunters have been fined $1,000 for
illegally transferring a deer licence.
Ministry of Natural Resources officers checked 4 hunters in the Witch Bay Road area near Kenora last November.
Officers discovered one of the men had an unused deer seal and a
non-resident Ontario deer licence which belonged to another man, who had
already returned to the United States.
Nicholas Seagle of North Carolina and Thomas Sturgeon of South
Carolina pleaded guilty in Kenora Court.
