Provincial Police in Red Lake are reporting multiple impaired driving charges.
Police say on November 2nd at 1:30 am, officers attended a business in the area of Highway 125 and 105 while conducting an investigation.
OPP then say they spoke to a man in the driver’s seat of a vehicle that they believe was impaired.
Police say when the man was demanded to provide a breath sample, he refused.
The 30 year old man was charged with Failing to Provide a Sample and he will appear in Red Lake court on December 13th to answer to the charges.
Meanwhile on Monday at around 9:50 am, police say they responded to a report of a truck in a ditch about 8 km north of Highway 125 on Nungesser Road.
Once officers arrived they found the truck located in a ditch and found out it had been reported stolen from Pikangikum.
OPP then say the driver was demanded to provide a breath sample which subsequently failed.
Police say as a result of investigation, a 15 year old girl from Pikangikum has been charged with Impaired Driving as well as Over 80 and also Take Motor Vehicle Without Consent Charges.
She will appear in Red Lake Court on January 9th to answer to the charges.
