Impaired Driving Up from Last Year

OPP say some people aren’t receiving the message about drinking and driving.
OPP in the Northwest Region have charged 31-individuals with impaired driving since the start of the Festive RIDE campaign on November 25th.
That’s up from 29 from this time last year.
OPP have issued 5 three day suspensions and have conducted a total of 521 RIDE checks throughout the region.
Police have also investigated 260-motor collisions; 7 involved alcohol.
