The Public School Board has approved an $8.3-million capital budget for
next year with 2-projects planned for Dryden and Sioux Lookout.
Superintendent of Business Dean Carrie says work on a $1.3-million
reconstruction project at Queen Elizabeth will likely start next
Spring or Summer.
Carrie says phase 1 of the project will consist of upgrades to classrooms and
Science Lab areas.
Renovations to Dryden High School will continue late this year or
early next year.
Carrie says phase 2 will include relocating the special education
room, improving accessibility and building a new music room.
