Individual Charged for Starting Forest Fire

The Ministry of Natural Resources has laid charges against a Rainy River area individual in connection with a recent forest fire in the district.
Details of the incident were not immediately revealed, but the M-N-R says the individual was charged under the Forest Fires Prevention Act.
Meantime, the MNR continues to investigate a recent human-caused fire that burned about 0.1 hectares near Crow Rock, east of Fort Frances.
