Influenza Precautions at DRHC

The Dryden Regional Health Centre is in defense mode after a case of
influenza was reported at the Kenora Hospital.
Flu season is upon us and Infection Control Officer Mary Jane Kruger
says visitors to the hospital will be asked to abide by a few rules.
Kruger says visitors are asked to not attend the hospital if they have flu or cold symptoms.
She notes all clients and visitors will be asked to clean their
hands when entering and leaving the hospital and patients attending the
emergency department will be screened for respiratory illness.
Kruger stresses there have been no reported cases of influenza in
Dryden.
